The Switchback is powered by a Twin Cam 103 ™ muscular V-twin engine that delivers high performance on the boulevard and on the road. The Switchback is the custom in lightest bike in its class tourist travel, and 718 pounds of ready-to-roll is 94 pounds in less than a Harley-Davidson Road King ®. New front-end geometry, premium suspension components and a low profile front tire for a ride on the Switchback bear and handling.
"The new front-end geometry of the wheels and tires, and fork data cartridge is designed to work together to produce a steering group, which has an input of light and immediately responsive," Brian Scherbarth, project engineer of lead line. "Demo tour reveals that the Switchback is able to bike tourism, which is also very fun to drive."
Designed to look good with or without bags, Switchback is designed to evoke a classic divide and clean lines of the fuel tank of 4.7 gallons to sweep its wings back coverage. The bow of the mini ape handlebars, and pull-back riser, full-length running board rider and an offer of two seats on tour riders to comfort all day.

- Twin Cam 103 ™ engine with 103-cid (1690cc), rubber mounted in the frame, is rated at 100 lb-ft. of torque at 3500 RPM. The engine is equipped with electronic sequential fuel injection port (ESPFI) and is mated to a 6-speed Cruise Drive ® transmission.
- 2-in-1 with straight cut chrome exhaust muffler tuned deep tone exhaust.
Advanced suspension is provided for comfort and precise handling. Nitrogen shock absorbers at the rear mono-tube are adjustable preload, dual springs. A fork with 41.3mm 20mm cartridge provides better damping performance, handling and comfort.
