Having said that using the tool for the job, the KX ™ 100 is the perfect tool to help riders increase their competitive game - and begin the transition to the big leagues competing full-size Lites 250cc. The KX100 is helping to bridge the huge gap between the classes, riders younger and younger with a machine that meets both their basic skills and expanding their size so they can focus on developing skills rather as controlling excessive power.

Bridging the gap is a Big Time

Everyone knows the importance of using the right tool for the job, which makes the KX ™ 100 the ideal tool to help drivers increase their competition - and begin their transition to a competitive full-size Lites. The KX100 is helping to bridge the gap between the classes, providing more and more young riders with a machine that hosts its growing base of skills and physical size, allowing them to concentrate on developing their capacities and not as the control of excessive power.

The KX100 is water cooled 99cc two-stroke engine provides power to the two largest and spread like a KX85. 28 mm Keihin carburettor and carbon fiber reed valve to help provide a strong throttle response, while the Kawasaki Integrated Power Valve System (KIPS ®) helps to produce a power curve with good low-end torque and a strong high level of art. The power goes through a smooth shifting six-speed transmission, giving the KX a team to each situation on the track.

The engine is bolted to a black high tensile steel perimeter frame with a specially designed fuel tank is located inside the frame to lower the fuel load and center of gravity for optimal handling. Adjustable long-travel suspension at both ends helps to smooth even the roughest motocross circuit. The 36mm inverted fork cartridge has a capacity compression damping, while the UNI-TRAK ® rear suspension system features a shock that is fully adjustable for spring preload, compression and rebound. In the braking department, both front and rear discs mounted with shoulder bolts for easier maintenance.

KX100 Kawasaki is also a graphic to reflect its aggressive black frame and wheels, just like larger KX siblings.

Those who race their KX100 at events are eligible for Team Green ™, Kawasaki's amateur racing support program. Each year Team Green provides regional support vehicles and highly qualified technicians with over 100 events, offering technical information and assistance to those who race Kawasaki products. Kawasaki also offers a contingency plan for a program of amateur and professional riders than good designated events.
