2012 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Classic FLHTC Review


By 2012, the eight Harley-Davidson ® Touring are powered by a twin Cam 103 ™ with automatic compression release and an integrated oil cooler. Producing 102 foot pounds. of torque at 3,500 rpm, the engine Twin Cam 103 ™ offers outstanding performance in the city and highway. All Touring models also feature 6-speed cruise drive DriveTM, 41.3 mm telescopic front forks of the adjustable rear air springs and isolated transmission system to deliver smooth power. The Harley-Davidson ® Touring chassis has a single mast, rigid backbone frame and swingarm, in two parts, designed to provide responsive handling and long-haul durability. The geometry of the chassis and suspension are tuned for the management of trust and comfort.

All models except Ultra Touring Limited will offer a new "tubeless" Chrome aluminum wheels fit option to facilitate tire replacement and repair. Six new colors or color combinations are some of the 12 options offered in the paint line model Touring 2012.
