2012 Beta 450RR Review


Beta RR Enduro models were known for their immediate and effective approach to reliability, long maintenance intervals and last but not 100% Italian style. Today is the third generation model RR4T with our own engine Rignano Sull'Arno and reach the market due to the ongoing development of capacity in many riding. Many improvements and innovations in both chassis and engine, all designed to increase the reliability and riding feeling. A variety of shifts are now available, reinforced by the new 350cc engine, a first for the enduro market beta. For 2012, Beta has developed a complete line of enduro bikes that use two weekend amateur and experienced Pro.

Updates for 2012 include:

Engine:

* Redesign of the cylinder head including cam reinforced bridge, valve cages, and updated cam chain tensioner to help reduce engine noise.

* New equipment and primary clutch springs for a greater commitment and action of the clutch.

* Update counterweight bearings for increased reliability.

* Strengthening the cam chain guides

* Increase the volume of oil in the engine cam chain to reduce friction.

* New oil drain plug for easy oil changes.

Chassis:

* All new 48 mm forks TFX Sachs Sachs, developed exclusively for the Beta. This new design allows the fork to shift their attacks very little friction.

* New fork seals and wiper with SKF self-lubricating compounds also reduce stiction.

* Triples new clamp to match perfectly with the new front fork.

* Setting redesigned with additional gussets and a larger diameter than the tube. This new framework has less flex and improved stability.

* New front and rear brake discs.

* New Brembo clutch master cylinder and a commitment to feel better.

* Redesigned exhaust (spark arrestor) provides a better flow, while maintaining a quiet exhaust note.
