Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ABS 2012 Review

The advanced 2012 Ninja ZX-10R ® ™ only met its match: The 2012 Ninja ZX-10R ABS. Built with sportbike technology, much of that to the right of the MotoGP circuit, ABS ZX-10R has an important advantage: anti-lock brakes.

Initially, anti-lock seems a touch off a bike race pure sport. But this system has been designed from the ground to provide maximum benefit. And when you think about security and control of many technology-based services and amazing electronic equipment available today, it starts to make sense.

Think about it: you're braking for a blind-decreasing radius corner after a long day of equestrian sport. The shadows are long and you're tired, you do not notice a patch of sand, until it is too late to correct. But instead of border that you continue to brake through the sand, keeping your front tire for most of its traction, as occurs the antilock braking system to the improved surface - so you can gracefully bow in the corner, a little wiser and much more unspoiled natural that you may have executed a motorcycle without ABS.

Kawasaki calls the anti-lock system KIBS - Kawasaki Smart, or anti-lock braking system. The use of "smart" is an appropriate way, even considering how smart is the new KIBS. It all starts with the unit smaller and lighter than ABS motorcycle ever built, one of the Bosch designed specifically for sport bikes in mind. It 's almost 50 percent lower than current motorcycle ABS unit, and 800 grams lighter, adding only about 7 pounds of weight compared to non-ABS car, nail, which is divided into a large battery.

KIBS is a multi-sensor system that collects and controls a wide range of information from the sensors of the wheels (the same collection of data in the standard ZX-10R S-KTRC its traction control system) and the ECU motorcycle, including the speed of the wheel, clamp pressure, engine speed, throttle position, clutch actuation and gear position. The KIBS computer communicates with the engine ECU of the bike and crunches numbers, and when it finds a potential deadlock situation, tells the Bosch ABS unit to temporarily reduce the line pressure, allowing the wheel once again regain traction.

Apart from the time of this system of ultra-fast response, offers a number of other sports on horseback benefits, including the removal of rear lift during braking, on a rebound ABS minimum of intervention and greater control of rear brake during a march lower. The control of high precision pressure allows the brakes to avoid reduced performance (sometimes visible in the less developed systems) to keep the lever in the right direction and help ensure the momentum of ABS is minimized.

Rest of the Ninja ZX-10R 2012 ABS is equally advanced. It comes with a powerful engine and lightweight body, it also offers a highly advanced and customizable electronic enables riders of all levels to leverage the experience and the ZX-10R ABS blend surprisingly strong and sharp edge processing. The system is called traction Sports Kawasaki.

Motorcyclists have always been challenged by issues related to traction, either dirt, road or trail. Runners who can keep a back tire to rotate too unpredictable or sliding is both faster and safer, a combination hard to beat on the track. And when we speak of the absolute edge of technology open class sport bike, where the production of bikes is actually more capable than full-on racing bikes just a few years ago, more consistent traction and increased confidence is a big plus.

Double injection nozzle Digital

• large 47mm throttle bodies, throttle helps

• Secondary fuel injectors to improve performance characteristics and power at high rpm, the lower injectors are always on, while the nozzles must be able to come than the throttle opening and engine rpm

• oval throttle bodies allow precise control of gas and an immediate response

• An idle speed control (ISC) valve on the throttle body unit automatically adjusts the engine idling, which contributes to easier starting and acceleration out of slow

Sports-Kawasaki Traction Control - S-KTRC

• A highly sophisticated electronic system based on real Kawasaki MotoGP experience that is designed to maximize the forward allowing runners to run closer to the edge of traction

• The system crunches a variety of information, such as throttle position, wheel speed, engine speed, wheel slip and acceleration, which contribute to the speed sensor mounted on each wheel

• The most rapid acceleration requires a certain amount of slip of the wheels to maximize traction, S-skating KTRC allows optimal

• Using complex analysis, the system is able to predict when the conditions are still unfavorable traction. Acting first slip exceeds the range for optimal traction, the system can quickly and easily reduce the flow a bit ', so that the wheel drive resumes

• S-KTRC confirms the conditions of 200 times per second and direction of ignition, which allows an extremely rapid response to changing conditions

• Riders can choose between three modes, depending on the level and conditions

• A level indicator panel LCD displays the amount of intervention by the electronic system provides real-time

• S-KTRC confirm the terms of 200 times per second and maintain rules for ignition, which provides extremely fast response

• Passengers can choose between three modes, depending on the skill level and conditions

• the level of the LCD screen on the dashboard allows the driver to know when the system works

Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System (KIBS)

• Advanced anti-lock braking control of the rider increases

• Use the unit smaller and lighter ABS available - a unit of Bosch House, half the size of a standard unit, and much lighter

• KIBS controls a wide range of data including the speed of the front and rear wheels, throttle position, gear selection, engine speed, pressure clamp, clutch engagement and to help prevent wheel lock

• High precision pressure brake control provides a number of benefits of equestrian sport, including the elimination of the minimum elevation subsequent recovery during the operation of the lever and the constant feeling

• ABS unit is located near the center of gravity wheel, the rear left of the cylinder, which minimizes the effects of additional weight

• The system uses speed sensors already mounted on the lack of ABS ZX-10R (S-KTRC traction control system)

• A radial master cylinder front of the pump provides a sense of front brake and final feedback

• Tokico radial mount brake calipers and the two lane cushions provide excellent bite, more control, progressive feel and feedback from high-rider

• two 5.5 mm thick, 310mm petal disc offers a thermal power required to maintain the feel and response of the brakes during hard use

• A 220mm rear disc petals in the grip of a single piston provides excellent feel and feedback
